Postcrossing is a great way to connect with people from all over the world, and writing a message on a postcard can be a fun and creative way to share a little bit about yourself and your corner of the world. But sometimes it can be difficult to come up with something interesting to say. That’s why I’ve put together a list of 20 ideas for Postcrossing Prompts.

- Describe the best meal you’ve ever had and where you had it.
- Share a favorite quote or saying in your native language and its translation.
- Write about a recent art exhibit or museum you visited.
- Share a tradition or custom from your culture.
- Describe a particularly beautiful sunset or sunrise you’ve recently seen.
- Share a recipe for a traditional dish from your country or culture.
- Write about a favorite book or movie and why you like it.
- Share a favorite local band or musician.
- Describe an interesting or unique building in your area.
- Write about a memorable day trip or weekend excursion you’ve taken.

Monthly Postcrossing Prompts
Did you know that the Postcrossing team publishes a new idea for what to write on your postcards every month? The prompt for January 2023 is “In January, tell us about the time period you’d visit if you had a time machine.”
