This morning I was looking through some of the postcards I’ve received from postcrossing. One of my favorite things about getting a postcard in the mail is seeing the interesting stamps from other countries. This was one of the first postcrossing cards that ever showed up in my mailbox. I love the stamp of the original Volkswagen GTI
This postcard came to me form the US with six beautiful vintage stamps. Look how clean that postmark is too!
These transportation series stamps were released in 1983. It was the first time coil stamps had their own unique designs.
Check out the colorful stamps this postcrosser from the Netherlands used for this postcard. And so organized too – two rows of three postcards. So satisfying
I must admit that I am a bit of a train nerd – especially passenger trains. That’s why I was so excited about the two train related stamps on this postcard from Indonesia
It was hard to narrow down my favorites to just a handful, and I’m sure many more great ones will show up in my mailbox in the future.
